Pray for the Summer was born out of a desire to support residential youth and children’s work with prayer.

Keep praying for this summer's holidays! The dates for 2011 are the 11th and 12th June. Put the date in your church diary now!

This year, over 50,000 young people and many thousands of leaders will be involved in a Christian residential experience. We know how powerfully God uses this work in young peoples lives; we also know the hurdles and potential dangers which leaders face in making it happen.

Who is Involved?

Pray for the Summer is being coordinated by CCI, as part of their 25th anniversary celebrations

On Sunday 12th June 2011 churches across the UK will highlight the need to pray for young people going on residential camps and holidays in the summer. Churches interview team members and young people who are planning to go away as part of their services. If your church wants to be involved then resources are available to download and buy on this area of the website. If you want someone local to come and speak please contact the CCI office.
