Bernard's Acre Dartmoor Centre is a chalet-style hostel situated near the village of Belstone in Devon, offering accommodation for self-catering, self-organised groups of up to 24 people.

Less than ten minutes from the A30, yet at the foot of the highest part of Dartmoor, it has an unrivalled setting. The river Taw forms one of the boundaries of the acre of grounds and there is a natural amphitheatre and fire pit located on the riverbank.

Bernard's Acre is the ideal location for extended families, youth groups and fellowship groups to stay together. The property provides a setting for retreat and reflections as well as serving as an excellent base for moorland hikes and activities. The beautiful north Devon Atlantic beaches are also only about 25 miles away.

Accommodation is provided in six 2, 4 or 6 bedded rooms with a mixture of single beds and bunks. All but one room has an ensuite shower room one of which is fully accessible. There is also space for pitching 3 small tents in the grounds if that suits your group. Prices quoted per night are based on our minimum booking of 15 guests and there will be a surcharge of £15 - £24 per person per night (depending upon the season) for additional guests. Babies under 3 are free of charge.
