Full Description
We have an exciting opportunity for a Chief Instructor to lead, motivate and develop a team of high quality instructors and trainees, ensuring industry best-practice and excellence in activity training and delivery. As a key member of the Centre Leadership Team, you will be able to clearly communicate our Christian ethos, objectives, mission and vision to staff and guests. This role is subject to an Occupational Requirement (OR) that the successful applicant is a Christian who is committed to the values, beliefs and behaviours set out in our ethos statement. This role is a permanent position subject to satisfactory references, an enhanced DBS check and a 6-month probationary period. It is full-time, 37.5 hours per week which includes some evening and weekend work. There is a Relocation Package available for someone who wants to move to the area for the position.
Qualifications / Requirements
You will need to have experience of leading and motivating a staff team as well as strong interpersonal, organisational and communication skills. The successful applicant will ideally need to hold the following qualifications: ML (S), RCI, British Canoeing Coaching Award – Open Canoe or White Water Kayak and nationally recognised Mountain Biking Leader.
