Rock UK Adventure Centres are looking for a key member of their Centre Leadership Team to head-up the provision of outdoor activities at Frontier Centre in Northamptonshire.

Chief Instructor – Rock UK Frontier Centre, Northamptonshire.

 

Do you love adventure? Are you an experienced activity professional with a desire to serve in Christian mission? At Rock UK, we are a Christian organisation that is passionate about developing young people, bringing adventure into learning in the outdoors, to transform lives. As Chief Instructor you will have overall responsibility for leading and motivating a team of instructors and trainees at Rock UK’s largest centre in Northamptonshire. Reporting to the Centre Director you will be a key member of the Centre Leadership Team. The Chief Instructor is an exciting role in an organisation where you will have opportunity to actively deliver Rock UK’s Christian mission, aims and objectives in an adventurous context and develop personally as a leading activity instructor.

 

Full Time 37.5 hours per week

 

Location: Northamptonshire (with occasional UK travel)

 

Salary: £25,000pa (negotiable depending on experience & qualifications) + pension contribution

 

This role is subject to an Occupational Requirement (OR) that the successful applicant should be a practising Christian.

Qualifications / Requirements

Outdoor activity qualifications including UKCC level 2 Canoe and Kayak, SPA, GNAS and 16 Hour First Aid are all essential. Please state all your outdoor qualifications on the application form.
